Operations management is the stumbling block of the second trimester, but at the same time one of the most useful courses you will receive during your bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Operations management is concerned with the workplace of an enterprise. Think of a Heineken brewery, where machines worth millions of euros and sometimes hundreds of people are at work. What is the smartest arrangement of the machines and the employees? How do you ensure that the products that roll off the assembly line are of high quality and that there is not too much stock? How do you predict the demand for Radler beer this summer? How do you keep the employees happy? These are all questions that will be answered in the Operations management course.
