Supply Chain Management - part 2

The course Supply Chain Management looks at the complete logistic chain where a company has to deal with. Look at Starbucks. How do they manage that coffee beans in Colombia are processed to coffee that is available in the whole world and taste the same everywhere in the world? We will look at cross-docking, a method of distribution that supermarkets use a lot to improve the quality of their fruits and vegetables. We will also look how we can use ICT in our supply chain. For example, when you buy a green t-shirt at Benetton, their inforation system will give a sign to the factory in China that one additional green shirt has to be produced. And of course, the inventory models of which the basics are treated in the first year course Operations Management, will araise! We can say that Supply Chain Management is a very broad but practical course which treats aspects of business where every company has to deal with on a daily basis.

A Reken Maar summary guide you step by step through the course. We explain the content in a clear and structured way and use many examples to make the course more vividly. Right after the explanation of the theory, you will find practice questions which enables you to train immediately with the theory you just learned. In comparison to other courses, theory plays a (more) important role in this course than in other mathematical courses. We will explain all the theory that you have to know for your exam in this Reken Maar summary.

In short, a Reken Maar summary is everything you need to pass Supply Chain Management.
