Financial Accounting - part 2

This course continues where the Accounting part of the first year course Foundations of Finance & Accounting ended. As you will know Accounting consists out of two areas: Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. Where Management Accounting strictly looks at bookkeeping for internal use, the bookkeeping of Financial Accounting is meaned for parties outside the companies. The first thing where you can think of is the annual report of a company, which is meaned for parties like shareholders, suppliers and customers to inform them about the financial wellbeing of a company.

In this course we will treat all the relevant posts on the balance sheet and income statement one by one. You can think of posts like inventory, fixed assets and current assets. Also we will look at the term leasing and what it means for accountants. We will finish the course with a chapter about analyzing these financial statements, something that accountants will do on a daily basis.

A Reken Maar summary guide you step by step through the course. We explain the content in a clear and structured way, and use many examples to make the course more vividly. Right after the explanation of the theory, you will find practice questions which enables you to train immediately with the theory you just learned.

In short, a Reken Maar summary is everything you need to pass Financial Accounting.
